Card Tape

"Card Tape" is a new recording project by percussionist Mikołaj Rytowski, dedicated to pushing the limits of sound and visual art through percussion. The debut EP will feature four original compositions that redefine traditional percussion, using experimental techniques and blending acoustic and electronic textures. Influenced by daily life, nature, and visual stimuli, the music transforms percussive instruments into tools for sonic storytelling—evoking images through sound. Collaborating with audio designer Tim Shatnyy, known for his electronic music expertise, Mikołaj crafts an immersive experience that fuses organic percussion with modern sound design, creating a bold, contemporary sonic landscape.
