Dear Biofilms

Dear Biofilms is an ongoing project working between multimedia installation, lecture performance and experimental film that deals with human exceptionalism and microbial resistance in relation to biofilms. Biofilms are complex 3D structures able to colonise almost all non-shedding surfaces. But what if we could talk to them too? And what would they say to us? Could their resistance benefit us? Can their examination help disrupt heteronormative projections onto nature?
